Mongolia's National Day
On behalf of President Obama and the people of the United States, I am delighted to send best wishes to the people of Mongolia as you celebrate your National Day this July 11.
On Monday, I experienced the warmth of the Mongolian people as I visited Ulaanbaatar and met with government officials, women leaders and civil society to discuss Mongolia’s bright future. As we mark the 25th anniversary of formal diplomatic relations between our two nations, I look forward to continuing to develop our comprehensive partnership.
Together we are promoting women’s rights and supporting the people of Afghanistan. Our growing trade and economic ties are further building our relationship from a foundation of shared democratic values.
As you celebrate with loved ones, know that the United States stands with you. I wish all Mongolians a joyous National Day, and best wishes for a year of peace, prosperity, and happiness.
