Re-construction planned for Naadam
The Organizing Committee of Naadam held a meeting on Wednesday May 29th.
This year Mongolians are celebrating the 2222nd anniversary of the Hun Empire, the 807th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire and 92nd anniversary of the People`s Revolution.
Over 50 billion MNT has been planned for the National Celebration this year.
For the preparation of the National celebration several re-constructions are scheduled to be completed before July 11th.
For instance, a paved road, 3000 seat-pavilion and 7000 car parking spaces will be built in Khui doloon khudag. Almost 40 percent of the 50 billion MNT for the Naadam celebration budget will be spent on re-construction. Furnishing seats at the State Central Stadium and installing toilets are also included in the budget.
Annually the National celebration of Naadam begins with the opening ceremony and finishes with a closing event. For this year the State honored artist D.Sosorbaram will conduct a spectacular performance for the opening ceremony.
