Parliament discusses draft election law
Parliament discussed the draft election law on Tuesday. MPs decided that the Election General Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will oversee the balloting of Mongolians who live abroad.
They also decided voters’ names will be listed 25 days before the election. Citizens can file complaints about the list up to ten days before the election, and certified members of civil registration organizations will be able to make changes to the list up to three days before the election.
Discussion of the draft election law is continuing.
