Officials discuss corporate governance
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Development Center for Company Governance (DCCG) are holding a conference on corporate governance in the Khaan Bank hall on Wednesday. The conference was organized with the assistance of the Finance Regulatory Committee.
Corporate shareholders, members of the Representative Managing Council, company executives, and various specialists and research organizations are taking part in the conference.
Anar Aliev, the IFC’s corporate governance specialist, is describing good corporate governance practices and corporations’ legal obligations.
DCCG Executive Director J.Unenbat is reading a paper about corporate governance, and Juan Carlos Fernandes, the IFC’s senior specialist for corporate governance projects in Asia and the Pacific, is reading a paper called “The Significance of Corporate Governance: The Experience of Countries in Asia and the Pacific.”
