UK Foreign Secretary William Hague visits Mongolia
UK Foreign Secretary William Hague is to pay an official visit to Mongolia on the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, L.Bold on 14th and 15th October.
This is the second visit at Foreign Secretary level since Mongolia established diplomatic relations with the United Kingdom in 1963.
During the visit by UK Foreign Secretary William Hague he will be received by President Ts.Elbgedorj and Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag respectively. The Foreign Secretary will then have official talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, L.Bold.
Mr. Hague has planned to see representatives of the Mongolian Government, businesses, NGOs, civil society organizations, scientific and international institutes as well as to visit the project of the Mercy Children Fund in Chingeltei District.
The press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia says that the UK Foreign Secretary William Hague`s visit to Mongolia is believed to be essential to deepen mutual trust and understanding between governments and the bilateral cooperation within an economic context between Mongolia and the United Kingdom.
