GOVERNOR-GENERAL OF CANADA TO VISIT
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Governor-General of Canada Mr David Johnston will pay a state visit to Mongolia on October 25-26 by invitation of the President Ts.Elbegdorj.
This is the very first visit to be paid at a state level from the Canadian side since the countries established the diplomatic relations in 1973. Before this, our President visited Canada in 2004.
During the visit, the Mongolian leader Elbegdorj will hold official talks with Mr Johnston to discuss issues of strengthening of the bilateral relations and cooperation, supporting investments and developing the inter-citizen exchange. The parties will also exchange views and expresse their positions on cooperation at international and regional levels.
The Governor-General of Canada will give a speech at a meeting of the State Great Khural as well.
