OUR CYCLISTS WIN TWO MEDALS AT EAST ASIAN GAMES
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolians Sunday added two more medals to their total won at the East Asian Games.
At the men's 80 km road race, A.Altansukh finished the second with a final time result of 1:43:28, after Feng Chun Kai from Chinese Taipei. His teammate T.Togoldor grabbed a bronze medal, pressing his pedal on the line, just six seconds before a chasing group of six cyclists, which includes another Mongolian B.Myagmarsuren. At that challenging event, only 21 out of 28 managed to see the end of a 80 km road.
The same day, T.Enkhjargal, who became the Asian Champion in Indian New Delhi seven months ago, finished the sixth the women's 50 km road race.
The Mongolian cycling team with three women and four men ended their competitions at the Games with such a pleasant success of winning two medals on October 13.
