Students to Protest on International Student’s Day
The Mongolian Students Union is planning a protest on International Student`s Day, October 5th, at the Student’s Square located next to the National Information Technology Park (NITP). The NITP was established in 2002 under the Government Act and the ground area nearby was designatedStudent Square.The Mongolian Students Union is protesting because the square is now being rented as a parking lot when it was originally established to be used for student activities. The students would like all cars to be removedfromthe grounds and are planning to block the entrance of parking lot on October 5th. The union also plans to issue a newhandbook for students on honor of International Student`s Day.
