STUDENTS TO COMPETE IN INT'L MATHS OLYMPIAD

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Some students and their insrtuctor have been given one million togrog.


B.Ganbat and B.Erkekhulan from Mathematics Computer school of Mongolia's state university and vice Professor V.Adyasuren are to compete in the 19th students international Olympiad of mathematics which will run July 26-August 3 in Sofia, Republic of Bulgaria. To encourage them, a union of Mongolian ensurers, society of Mongolian actuaries and “Monre” ensurer company have presented these money.



The supporters also want to create together with business entities a foundation to support and encourage those students who have been awarded at international competitions and Olympiads. In the last three years, students of Mongolia's state university have grabbed one gold, two silvers medals and three special places from maths Olympiad, as a team received one silver and two bronze medals from programme competition of Asian region.
