Discover Mongolia-2013 begins



The “Discover Mongolia-2013” International Mining Investors Forum begins at the Mongolian Children"s Palace in Ulaanbaatar today on September 5th.

The Mongolian National Mining Association, Ministry of Mining of Mongolia and Prime Info LLC are jointly organizing the annual forum this year.

Only 500 participants from over 10 countries are expected to attend at the International Mining Investors Forum. In previous years almost 1000 participants from over 40 countries attended the International Mining Investors Forum.

The 11th International Mining Investors Forum begins with speeches by the former President of Mongolia, P.Ochirbat and Mining Minister D.Gankhuyag.

Sessions will be held on the following subjects:

“World economy and its impact on the mining industry”
“Creating a Stable Legal Environment”
“Building up an Enabling Infrastructure”
“Environmental Issues”
“How to meet the growing demand for qualified human resources”
“Stakeholders Engagement at Local Level”
“Is Mongolian Mineral Sector Ready for Regional Integration?”
“International Investors Exchange”
“Mongolia perspectives of oil shale”

During the forum, held over two days on September 5th and 6th, there will be an Investors Exchange Exhibition that will give foreign and national companies’ introductions and advertise these companies’ services and products. It is designed to help the participants find good projects, reliable services, quality equipment or skilled personnel.
