Luciano Benetton visits Mongolia

Luciano Benetton, the founder and the Executive Director of Benetton Group landed at Chinggis Khan International airport in Mongolia in his private jet ‘Ben Air,’ at 1 pm on September 3. He travels annually to visit the Benetton branch stores around the world. This is his fourth visit to Mongolia; he first came to Mongolia in 2007. Founded first as a family business in 1965 by four siblings of Benetton family, the Benetton group is now a big global fashion brand which operates over 6500 stores in 120 countries. In 2010 the ‘United Colors of Benetton’ brand first opened its store in Mongolia and now two stores; branch number 6254 and 6401 operate their activity in Mongolia. This time, Mr. Benetton has come to Mongolia to visit the new Benetton store which will soon open in the ‘Shine Ger’ apartment town in Ulaanbaatar. He also has a plan to see the horse show ‘King of the kings Chinggis’ and the fashion show of the ‘Mongol Model’ agency. He will also be presented with over one hundred paintings from Mongolian artists, which will be displayed at the Ponzano Gallery at the Benetton Headquarters in Treviso, Italy.
