MPRP demands resignation of Parliament
MPRP Secretary General N.Udval and other party members delivered a note to Speaker D.Demberel at the Government House on Thursday demanding the resignation of all members of Parliament.
N.Udval told our correspondent that the MPRP is demanding the mass resignation because the new election law ratified by Parliament is unfair. She said the law guarantees the parties in power will remain in power.
Meanwhile, she said, poverty in the country is increasing and inflation is rising, yet Parliament has allocated MNT 3 billion to each MP from the state budget. N.Udval said that money will be used to buy votes.
She said the note will also be delivered to Secretary of Parliament’s Office Ts.Sharavdorj.
