receives State Secretary of Spanish Foreign Ministry
Ulaanbaatar,
April 4 (MONTSAME) The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold Friday met visiting
Mr Gonzalo de Benito, the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Spain, in
Ulaanbaatar.
At the meeting,
the parties exchanged views on a present situation of the bilateral cooperation
in the politics, economy, culture and scientific fields.
Mr Gonzalo
conveyed a greeting of the Spain’s Foreign Minister of Mr Bold, and invited him
to visit Spain.
The Mongolian
Minister highly spoke signing of a cooperation memorandum between the
Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the countries on the bilateral consultative
meeting.
Cabinet
meeting in brief
Ulaanbaatar,
April 4 (MONTSAME) At its meeting on Friday, the cabinet discussed and backed
in principle a draft resolution of parliament on approving a guideline of the
state policy on defense. It will be submitted to parliament, reflecting
proposals from cabinet members.
- In accordance
with a cabinet decision, the Center for Children’s Development and Protection
at the National Department for Children (NDC) will be disbanded therefore the
center’s structure, staffers, fixed and current assets, and budget have been
transferred to the “Onor bul” center for children and family development at the
NDC.
- The cabinet
approved a directive for Mongolian delegates to participate in the 4th meeting
of the Mongolia-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission for trade, economics,
science, culture and technical cooperation. It will be held on April 24-25 in
Ulaanbaatar city.
Finance
tackled for some projects
Ulaanbaatar,
April 4 (MONTSAME) In accordance with a cabinet decision made Friday, money
will be allotted from the Development Bank of Mongolia (DBM) to finance
projects on the “Songino” sub-station and the “Ikh toirog” overhead electric
wires, the “MBA” sub-station and overhead wires of the “Bayangol” town.
An obligation
was given to N.Batbayar, the Minister of Economic Development to realize the
works, and then the DBM’s representative leading council was authorized to
allot necessary money.
It is expected
that these electric lines and sub-stations will ensure reliable consumption of
electricity in the capital city and contribute to reducing air pollution.
Moreover, electric sources for about 50 thousand families in ger areas will be
resolved.
Stock
exchange news for April 4
Ulaanbaatar,
April 4 (MONTSAME) At the Stock Exchange trades held Friday, a total of 47
thousand and 948 shares of 20 JSCs were traded costing MNT 43 million 413
thousand and 042.97.
"Genco
tour bureau" /30 thousand and 003 units/, "Remikon" /7,659
units/, "Mudix” /3,292 units/, "Nako tulsh” /3,000 units/ and
"Gobi" /1,137 units/ were the most actively traded in terms of
trading volume, in terms of trading value--"Mudix" (MNT 26 million
and 336 thousand), "Gobi" (MNT seven million 097 thousand and 550), "Genco
tour bureau" (MNT two million 699 thousand and 970), "Bayangol
hotel" (MNT one million 226 thousand and 400) and "Remikon" (MNT
one million 137 thousand and 195).
The total
market capitalization was set at MNT one trillion 652 billion 456 million 026
thousand and 222. The Index of Top-20 JSCs was 16,076.60, increasing by MNT
331.03 or 1.97% against the previous day.
