The Turkish Airlines launches flight to Ulaanbaatar
The Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier airline of Turkey has launched the new direct flight in route Ulaanbaatar-Bishkek-Istanbul.
A Boeing 737-800 plane of the very first flight of the Turkish Airlines to Ulaanbaatar city landed on Tuesday, on June 28, 2012 in the Chingis Khaan international airport.
The flight will be performed three times a week in accordance with the cooperation memorandum established on April 27, 2012 by S.Batmonkh, a head of the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia (CAA) and by Bahri Kesici, a deputy director-general of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation at the Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Communication. The same day, the Turkish Airlines opened its representative office in Ulaanbaatar city.
