FIRST SESSION OF NEW PARLIAMENT STARTS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The very first meeting of the new parliament, formed as a result of the 2012 election, kicked off at 10.00 am on Friday.
Before the session, a faction of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) had decided not to attend the closing meeting of the previous parliament until "tackling a conflict at the 10th constituency in Ovorkhangai", but the Premier and chairman of the MPP S.Batbold said that it would be wiser to be present there, besides, a majority decided that the Constitution must be respected, the state's work must not be stopped, and the nation's basic interests must be prioritized.
