SEMINAR THEMED "COAL CONVERSION AND UTILIZATION" TO RUN
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A seminar entitled “Coal Conversion and Utilization” will be held on August 10 in a conference hall of the Mongolia-Japan center. It was reported on Tuesday on the www.infomongolia.com website.
Co-organized by the Coal Research Center of School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the Mongolian State University (MSU), the forthcoming seminar will bring together Kiyotaka Miura, an associate professor at the Kyoto University; K.Sugawara, a professor at the Akita University; Dr. K.Kato of the Nippon Steel Corporation; M.Masuda of the Osaka Gas Company; and Dr. B.Enkhsaruul of the MSU.
The participants will deliver reports with themes “Processing of brown coal”, “Desulfarizarion process of brown coal”, “New intensions of coal use in Japan's iron and steel industry”, “Conversion technology of brown coal to synthetic methane gas” and “Coal research work directions at the MSU”.
