MEETING BETWEEN MONGOLIA AND REPUBLIC OF KOREA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The meeting entitled “Present situation and tendencies of Mongolia's economy and investment condition” was co-organized by the National development and innovation committee and the Embassy of Republic of Korea in Mongolia.
The representatives of KEPCO, KAL, Samsung, Halla construction and Hyundai companies of Korea attending the meeting got familiarized with sectors, projects and programs needed in investment.
A head of the National development and innovation committee, Ch.Khashchuluun delivered a speech on present situation of Mongolia's economy. He noted that the country has an economy based on mining activities, and is required to cooperate with Korea, which one of the leading country with its advanced technology.
A vice head of foreign investment department, Yo.Monkhtuya talked about how Mongolia attracts more attention of foreign investors with its economic growth and mineral resources reserve.
The Ambassador of South Korea to Mongolia, Lee Tae-ro said "Koreans have not enough information about Mongolia's intensive growth rate. But today, we witnessed this country's development. So, the meeting aims to attract more investment from Korea to Mongolia in the future”.
