"ROARING HOOVES" INT'L FESTIVAL BEGINS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The "Roaring Hooves 2012" International Festival of Contemporary and Folk Music kicked off on Monday in the National Museum of History.
This year's festival that will last until June 30 has brought together musicians from Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Brazil, the USA and France.
In frames of the festival, serial concerts will be given in some historical sites in Mongolia such as in the “Khamar” monastery and near remains of the “Saran khokhoo” theatre in Sainshand, Dornogobi, and in Ovorkhangai aimag.
The “Roaring Hooves” festival has been taking place from 1999, and it attracted over 1,500 musicians from hundred countries. This year, a group of 50 foreign musicians will have a trip by train. They will enjoy and attend many events such as an international conference, training and a fashion show by the Shilmel Zagvar company.
