2013 Audi A3

After the new Mini came out and stole the thunder from all other manufactures small cars. This is Audi's long awaited reply, officially released at the Geneva Motor show the New Audi A3 is bigger and better than ever. the car looks almost the same as the previous model but has a new VW Group's Modular Transverse Matrix platform and an extended wheel base for added room in th cabin. They have also used aluminium panels to cut weight and has a far more sporty interior with Audis MMI being used as well.





At this moment three engine options, 1.4-liter petrol TFSI with 120 horsepower, a 1.8 TFSI with 177 horsepower, and a 2.0-liter turbodiesel, producing 141 horsepower and strong torque. Fuel economy has improved by an average of 12 percent over the previous model. More engines will follow, as will Audi's famous quattro all-wheel-drive system.





The first models to come off the line will be launched some time in winter, here in South Africa. We are interested to see the new A3 as it is set to take the Mini head on. Audi has worked very hard and sent all the top engineers to make it the top. We will let you know when any new news and info is released.
