The BMW M3 is the best of its class ok. It just is. Yes we all have our favourites but when it comes having the complete package in a car that can do everything brilliantly. And still be a joy at the end of every journey, this is it.

Now getting to the point, we have the BMW M3 GTS and immediately there’s a problem. Simply because this is different to a normal M3 in every way apart from the looks it shares from its companion. So let’s get down to the point.

 The body is wider to improve track width making it more stable around corners. The Brakes are bigger. The suspension has been focused to make it a track day/comfy cruiser. The 7-speed gearbox features faster changes. Interior has nothing so all you do is drive, but you can put normal goodies in at no cost. The engine has been injected with 400cc, making it a 4.4L with 336kw/450hp, 440Nm, 4.4 seconds 0-100, 306 kph top speed.

It is a car for keen drivers and as keen drivers ourselves we don’t mind, because there will be a day were you just want to go out and drive even if it at 3am. And why not do it in a car that will keep take all of your attention (sort of like taking a dump) and put it in one thing and that is to just drive.
