The return of the tuners
Yes.. The tuner era!
Oh that time when everybody wanted to be "fast and furious" hint hint! Fortunately some magical thing happened and that phase just phased probably caused by the fact we all realized fast cars are faster then slow cars with HUGE turbo's... Yeah a topic that should not be touched, ever!
But after a quite few years toyota has come out with a new tuner. A slick looking, 2 door competitor to the Cayman and 370z.. Its called the GT86 and already Tuner company's are flocking and begging for the opportunity to create custom modes and fancy tuner equipment for the new GT86. toyota has not yet released the car anywhere but has lent it to a few testing company's. Toyota specifications are as follow's.
0-100 KM/H: 6.8 seconds
Top Speed: 220 KM/H
Horsepower: 147 kW
Engine: Flat four
The possible South African price range has varied between R 350 000 to R 500 000..
No one is certain on the new GT86 and the return of tuner's but it looks dynamic and has great possibility, and that makes a Car worth looking out for!
