Parliament appoints new ambassadors
On Thursday, Parliament discussed the president’s nominations for various ambassadorships.
MPs approved the appointment of S.Khurelbaatar as Mongolia’s ambassador to Japan (replacing R.Jigjid), S.Bayaraa to India (replacing V.Ganbold), T.Janabasar to Laos (replacing T.Batbaatar), B.Delgermaa to Singapore (replacing P.Gansukh), and O.Davaasambuu to Cuba (replacing Ya.Dolgorjav).
Speaker D.Demberel wished the newly appointed ambassadors much success in their new posts, and he encouraged them to widen economic relations between Mongolia and their assigned nations, and to achieve a new level of foreign relations.
