Emergency board to cooperate with Australian Red Cross
Mongolia’s National Emergency General Board (NEGB) and the Australian Red Cross signed an agreement on Tuesday to increase cooperation. The agreement was signed by NEGB deputy chief D.Namsrai and the Australian Red Cross’s Sean Hazelden.
Under the terms of the agreement, 18 volunteer specialists from Australia will work with the NEGB for five years with the aim of strengthening the latter organization’s management, improving the skills of its staff, and providing strategic support and advice.
The agreement was supported by the Asia and Pacific region branch of the Red Cross Association and the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Associations.
