U.S embassy's public affairs section donates teaching materials
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On December 16, 2010, staff from the Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Mongolia donated free publications and teaching materials for use by Peace Corps volunteers during participation in the Peace Corps "Partnership Fair".
Some of the most popular items were bilingual materials which can be used in rural areas as a good resource for English teaching. 22 volunteers together with their counterparts came from 20 different provinces of Mongolia to participate in the training on health, business and youth development. During this training the volunteers received technical and project design management training.
Organized by Peace Corps in Mongolia, the purpose of this training is to tighten the relationships between volunteers and their Mongolian counterparts.
