NOTE AND AGREEMENT SIGNED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A ceremony took place Friday in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to sign a Mongolia-Japan inter-governmental note and an agreement on assistance between the government of Mongolia and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
These documents have been inked by G.Zandanshatar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, by T.Kidokoro, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia, and by T.Isogai, the permanent representative of the JICA to Mongolia.
In accordance with the inter-governmental note, the sides will implement projects to build a new source of water in Gachuurt village for Ulaanbaatar city with a non-refundable aid of JPY 102 million (approximately USD one million and 200 thousand) from the Japanese government, with the agreement--to improve training equipment for radio and television with a cultural non-refundable aid of JPY 100 million and 900 thousand (USD one million and 185 thousand).
