PM slammed Mamata govt for trying to do 'blame game'.
Referring to the Vivekananda flyover collapse on March 31 that claimed lives of 27 people and left over 80 injured, Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said the bridge collapse was an act of fraud and not an act of God.
The Prime Minister slammed the Mamata Banerjee government for politicising the flyover tragedy in Kolkata, adding that instead of providing relief to the affected people, she was involved in a blame game. Addressing a BJP election rally, he attacked the Trinamool Congress government saying deaths were everywhere in the state from north Bengal due to lack of food and hunger to the tea workers to murders, rapes and bridge collapse in Kolkata.
He alleged that the state government was shying away in taking responsibility of so many casualties. The Prime Minister also urged the people to vote for BJP candidates in West Bengal for prosperity and growth of the state.
Prime Minister Modi said the BJP would dedicate the government for uplift of the poor people in West Bengal.
