LAOS AND MONGOLIA TO TIGHTEN AGRICULTURAL COOPERATION
Laos: Laos and Mongolia plan to work together to expand agricultural cooperation through cross-promotion of two important industries in both countries.
Mongolia hopes to attract Lao investors for its sheep farming industry, and Laos hopes to attract Mongolian investors in rice cultivation.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on implementation of the plan was signed between Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Mr Vilayvanh Phomkhe and Mongolian Minister of Industry and Agriculture, Mr Kh. Battulga during a working visit to Mongolia in June by a Lao delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
