MIAT holding staff accountable for failures
The Directors Board of state owned airlines, MIAT, held a meeting on Thursday March 28th to discuss the delay in Moscow on March 24th of the Berlin-Moscow-Ulaanbaatar flight ОМ136.
During the meeting issues of responsibility failure and the flight delay were raised. The Board finally reached a decision to hold staff to account who failed their responsibilities causing the delay of the flight after discussing options to improve services and efforts. Passengers of the Boeing 737-800 MIAT ОМ136 Berlin-Moscow-Ulaanbaatar flight were stuck in Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow for three days due to a technical service failure and a snowstorm.
MIAT officially apologized for its failure and compensated passengers for the delay.
