The Dream Theatre – the best of 2012

Since its establishment, the Dream Theatre has proven that it is one of the best of its kind. Throughout 2012, it also distinguished itself as an exceptional team, which dominated the whole year. The Dream Theatre was established on November 17, 2011 on the occasion of 8th Anniversary of Mongolian Drama. Consisting of a younger generation of performers, it held its opening ceremony with their debut dramatic act – My Secret Son (Minii Nuuts Khuu), which received critical acclaim from the public. It is a work derived from Alexander Vampilov’s play “Elder Son” which was first performed in 1969.

The debut was attended by many prominent figures in Mongolia including the Prime Minister of Mongolia N.Altankhuyag, politicians, bands Outlaw and Motive, the leader of the band Khar Sarnai S. Amarmandakh, and many other singers and models.

Their recent play, “Life is a Gift” (Amidral Uuruu Beleg) generated even more attention from the public and critics alike. This play was a very successful one indeed – it ran for over 40 days to a total of over 85,000 people.

They are planning a few more plays next year – fans and audiences who have been watching them cannot wait until they come back to the stage again.
