Person of the year awarded
News.mn named E.Bat-Uul, the Governor of Capital City and Major of Ulaanbaatar, as “Person of the year”.
News.mn traditionally nominates the most popular events and person of the year. For 2012, E.Bat-Uul, the Governor of the Capital City and Major of Ulaanbaatar was chosen to be “Person of the year” for successfully leading his Democratic Party team in the election for the Citizen`s Representative`s Khural. Also for being publicly praised for his measures to reduce heavy traffic jams in the city and cancelling illegal construction works.
Today E.Bat-Uul, the Hero of Mongolia, and now “person of the year” received the tribute when he visited News.mn on Wednesday.
He expressed his gratitude when he received the tribute saying that he will work hard to provide citizens with a peaceful and safe Ulaanbaatar city.
