Mongolia's president meets NLAI’s director
Meeting the director of the National Library and Archives of Iran (NLAI) on their route to Istanbul, President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj said: “Negotiating with the Iranian President, I looked forward for joint activities and the transfer of Iran’s library and archives’ experiences.”
IBNA: According to the public relations department of the NLAI, President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj expressed his gratitude for visiting Iran’s National Archives and emphasized on sealing a MoU between the National Library and Archives of Mongolia and the National Library and Archives of Iran.
The director of NLAI talked about NLAI’s structure, facilities and achievements as well as Iran’s National Archives and the organization’s role in expanding the archive sciences in the region as well as SWARBICA- South and West Asian Regional Branch of the International Council on Archives- saying: “The center held specialized sessions on mending documents for countries including Iraq, Kazakhstan and Georgia and it is ready to cooperate with Mongolia National Library and Archives as well.”
The President of Mongolia was accompanied by Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs as well as the Senior Cultural Advisor to the president.
