CD'S GOVERNING COUNCIL BEGINS ITS MEETING
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The 4th meeting of the Governing Council of the Community of Democracies (CoD) started 9.00 am on Monday in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Representatives of 17 out of 25 member-countries of the Governing Council are taking part in the meeting, and they intend to discuss organizational matters, especially a preparation for the Ministerial meeting of the CoD scheduled next year in Ulaanbaatar. Moreover, a newly elected the Secretary-General of the CoD Ms. Maria Leissner will officially take the office.
The President Ts.Elbegdorj and the U.S. Secretary of State Ms. Clinton are delivering speeches at the international forum on women's leadership.
