MONGOLIANS ATTEND WHO MEETING ON NON-INFECTIOUS DISEASES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A delegation of Mongolia has taken part in a meeting on expanding the collaboration in prevention of non-infectious diseases organized by the World Health Organization Regional Office for the Western Pacific on June 11-14 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Mongolia's delegation comprised N.Tumendemberel, the State Secretary of the Health Ministry; D.Baigalmaa, a deputy head of the Ministry's Regulatory Department of Implementing Social Health Policy; B.Yanjmaa, a head of the Ministry's Section of External Cooperation; and G.Monkhbileg, a head of the Finance and Investment Department of the Ministry of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development.
Ms. D.Baigalmaa delivered on June 11 a report on the Mongolia's policy on non-infectious diseases and measures being implemented, and then answered questions put by delegates of participants. Another report was delivered on Thursday by N.Tumendemberel on financing for the health sector in Mongolia, especially, for the social health sector and combating against infectious diseases.
