Couchsurfing: a new way to travel on friendship
The short documentary describes the travels of three "couchsurfers" - modern nomadic travelers who move around the world on friendship.
David is a French former business and management student who was employed as a sales representative for several years. He says that he lives most of the time on around $100 a month. He even lived in Spain for one month, totally without money.
Begz is a Mongolian who works in a public library and is married with four children. Begz accommodates many couchsurfers in his home.
Tsira is a Georgian, who lived in St Petersburg from the age of 8-years-old. By profession she is an architect, but by choice she is an artist. She visits Begz in Mongolia.
All three persons share one passion - to travel the world in a unique way - couchsurfing.
They all either use the couchsurfing website, or they approach people personally in the street. They all experience a different type of travel, by being immersed in the lives of others worldwide, and by learning about the differences in their cultures.
