The Premier requires an additional list of strategic mine’s
The National Commission of Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative held yesterday. The commission headed by Premier S.Batbold noticed in his welcoming speech that increased number of companies who declared report on transparency. In “In last report 101 companies declared their report while in 2006 only 25 companies. Also decreased case of law violation. It’s a good result” said S.Batbold.
The Premier also expressed have to restrict deal with mining license. “Therefore the government will register under reserce all free land and land with special local use. Only the parliament has right to decide give a license” said S.Batbold.
The Premier instructed the G.Altansukh, a new head of Mineral Authority to do reform in the agency and recruit qualified experts. Also he directed to prepare additional list of strategic mine’s and deliver to the Cabinet meeting.
