PREMIER ATTENDS STUDENTS' FORUM
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister S.Batbold pointed out that encouraging of the competitive intelligence of a Mongolian is a solution to realize the opportunities that are given to forward Mongolia's development.
The Premier said it to the gathered at a forum of students organized last Saturday by the Union of Mongolian Students (UMS) in the Government House. He stressed that the cabinet is trying to tackle social problems faced to students, and added that it is possible to transfer some directives of the state to the UMS, and the cabinet decided to solve issues on dormitories for students.
“It is time to bear big responsibilities for the second generation of the Mongolia's democracy and market. In other words, Mongolian students are about to realize the opportunities of accelerating the economic growth of Mongolia,” he said.
During the forum, foremost students who showed successes in the academic years of 2011-2012 received the scholarships named after the Prime Minister of Mongolia. Each student had the scholarship of MNT 800,000.
Under a theme “Leadership-Participation-Development”, this year's forum ran with four primary topics with participation of some 1,000 students.
