New McLaren P12 F1 sneak peak.

In 1993 a small car firm produced the fastest car the world has ever seen, and set a world record in 1998 with 372km/h or 231 mph. The McLaren F1. Built from materials such as carbon fibre and having gold foil in the engine bay as heat shield from the exhaust. This car was superior in terms of technological use. Even with its 3-seater configuration. It features things only seen on the car of today. Lighter and faster than the modern supercar.

Now many many years later there’s a successor to the legendary F1, code named the P12. Intel suggest it use the same 3.8L V8, that powers the MP4-12C (McLaren’s other supercar) and will most definitely be more powerful with the help of a KERS unit hiding in its body.

The new model should Feature many new and exquisite materials, probably something we never imagined, but expect a lot of carbon everywhere OK.

Will it be radical and ludicrous as the model it replaces or even break records like there’s no tomorrow. We’ll be reporting more once we get to know more. Till then let’s wait and see.
