Neil Armstrong's rusty Corvette
A few weeks ago we featured an article on the sneaked Chevrolet Corvette C7, today we have a different chevrolet. Today's chevy is a 1967 chevrolet corvette, a beautiful car on its own and worth quite a bit, this one however went on sale and so far it has reached a bid of £240 099. The reason is because this chev belonged to Neil Armstrong.
Yes Neil Armstrong, the man who first walked on the moon and changed space travel for ever. The story is the Chev was delivered to Neil in 1966, as part of a program to give Corvettes, to all astronauts, for just $1 per year. As you can see the car is in a pretty bad shape, as a result of being kept in a barn for 3 decades. It has an extremely low mileage for its age and would make a beautiful restoration project.
Reports suggest the cars value would be around $30 000, but with Neil Armstrong linked to it on e-bay it has reached £240 000 and counting. if you interested in purchasing go online now n bid.
