ANITA FARNI RECEIVES "HONORABLE DOCTOR" TITLE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Anita Fahrni-Minear, Switzerland, has received a title of the "Honorable Doctor".
It has been awarded by academic council of Foreign Language and Culture School of Mongolia's State university.
A head of “Switzerland program on supporting language training and teaching education”, Ms. Fahrni-Minear has greatly contributed to developing of the international culture and education. Since 1998, she has been actively conducting activity in Mongolia founded six "Swiss Library", donating more than 330,000 books and magazines to our universities, institutes and rural schools.
Every year she selects nine Mongolian female students among majoring here in the German language and sends them to one of pedagogical institutes of Switzerland and accommodates them in host family to improve the German. Such scholarships have gone to 13 students, four will study in 2012-2013 academic year.
