PRESIDENT RECEIVES KAF COUNTRY DIRECTOR
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A country director of the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation (KAF) Mr. Johannes D. Rey has introduced to the President Ts.Elbegdorj projects to be implemented in Mongolia.
Mr. Rey did it at on Thursday at a meeting with the State Head in the Government House. He expressed satisfaction with a recent fruitful visit of Mongolia's President to the Federal Republic of Germany, and mentioned about some works initiated by the KAF on strengthening local governance and on decentralization.
The President noted that the KAF is one of the funds that rendered a big assistance and aid to Mongolia in times of the democratic revolution, and said a Mongolia-Germany forum has been held in Berlin under auspices of the Presidential Offices of the two countries.
"I was glad to meet the new President of Germany. Our cooperation is entering a new level. I think a process of forming the democratic system in limitless, but it is important to strengthen it," Ts.Elbegdorj said. He emphasizing an importance of a cooperation with the KAF in increasing the local authority, of reforming the laws on political parties, establishing political funds, and in some specific works aimed at a renovation of the public service.
