Asian Youth Basketball Championship to be held in Ulaanbaatar
The Mongolian Basketball Federation will host the 22nd Asian Youth
Basketball Championship at the Buyant-Ukhaa Sport Palace from June 25 to
July 7.
Selected basketball teams from Mongolia and 15 other
Asian countries will compete in the tournament. Mongolian Basketball
Federation Administration Head R.Tsevegmid said that seven teams have
already applied to compete, including teams from China, South Korea,
Yemen, Taiwan, Iran, and the Philippines. The teams will arrive in
Mongolia in June.
Teams that win the tournament will compete at the world youth basketball championship, added R.Tsevegnyam.
