MONGOLIANS PARTICIPATE IN SGATAR'S MEETING
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The 41st Study Group on Asian Tax Administration and Research (SGATAR) Meeting 2011 has taken place in Kota Kinabulu city, Malaysia. Mongolia has been represented there by a delegation, headed by B.Battomor, a head of the Tax Administration. The Mongolians have given a report at an administrative-level session, held meetings with some officials of the SGATAR and tax administration leaders of 15 countries. B.Battomor has reported on works and activities of the Mongolian Tax Administration.
Founded in 1970, the SGATAR joins the tax administrations of 16 Asia-Pacific countries.Its first meeting ran in 1971. Among the members, meeting is organized annually to discuss urgent problems facing the tax sector and to share information and experience. Also, the members cooperate in putting forward proposals from the meeting to other international organizations. B.Khuder
