VOLUNTEERS TO WORK AT NAT'L EMEREGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Australian Red Cross (ARC) will cooperate in a scope of the international development program of Australian volunteers.
A memorandum of mutual understanding on this cooperation was signed on Tuesday by D.Namsrai, a deputy head of the NEMA, and by Shaun Hazelden, a representative of the ARC for Asia region.
In frames of the memorandum with a key purpose to reinforce the emergency service management, 18 volunteers will arrive in Mongolia to collaborate with the NEMA's authorities and personnel and to support them in strengthening the service skills and in ensuring the strategic goals.
Within the partnership period, the volunteers will work at the NEMA for five years.
