Mongolian food company adopts international standards
Just Agro LLC was audited by SGS International for compliance with international food safety standards known as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) at its meat processing factory on November 25.
HACCP is a preventive approach to food and pharmaceutical safety that addresses physical, chemical, and biological hazards as a means of prevention, rather than focusing on the inspection of finished products.
Mongolia’s National Program of Food Safety is hoping to implement HACCP standards in 60 percent of the country’s food processing facilities between 2013 and 2016.
