AUSTRIAN JOURNALISTS CLUB WANTS TO COOPERATE WITH MONGOLIA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The president of the United Confederation of Mongolian Journalists (UCMJ) T.Baasansuren received on Friday Mr. Christian Steiner, the Ambassador of Austria to China, who was here to take part in the 3rd meeting of EU ambassadors to Mongolia held in Ulaanbaatar.
At the meeting, Mr. Steiner expressed a willingness of the Austrian Journalists Club (AJC) to cooperate with the UCMJ and then gave Mr. Baasansuren an official letter on about this cooperation. Mr. Steiner said he is delighted to launch the collaboration between the core organizations of journalists.
The ambassador mentioned that the AJC intends to send its delegation to Mongolia for sharing experiences and for signing a cooperation contract.
T.Baasansuren thankfully received the official letter and expressed a willingness to invite the AJC delegation with a working visit to Mongolia and to establish the cooperation contract. Present at the meeting were Ya.Sumya, the UCMJ secretary-general, and D.Tseden-Ish, a member of the UCMJ Board.
The AJC with more than 6,500 members is an independent and free organization. It organizes several journalists' awards and has own "Journalism and Media Academy".
