Sergei Chemezov, General Director of Rostechnology LLC, was appointed Head of the Official Affairs Council of Russian-Mongolian cooperation at a meeting in Moscow on November 3. After his selection, Chemezov said the bilateral relationship is based on mutual understanding and traditional good neighborliness. “We are strengthening our ties in energy, transportation, exploitation of mineral resources, agriculture and humanitarian fields,” he said.
Evgenii Primakov, Chief of the Trade and Industrial Hall of Russia, said Chemezov is perfect leader of the council and he is known in the two countries. The selection will prove to be successful as he will be able to implement investment projects in Mongolia.
