222 Athletes Represent Mongolia in Asian Games
Mongolian team left for Guangzhou, China to take part in the 16th Asian Games on November 8, 2010.
Guangzhou-2010 Asian Games will start on November 12 to 27, 2010. Over 10,000 athletes from 45 countries will compete in 42 sport’s events at the Asian Games.
Mongolian team includes 222 athletes and they will compete in 28 different categories such as badminton, archery, baseball , billiard, bowling, boxing, shooting, volleyball, handball, gymnastics, golf, go draught, cycling, judo, basketball, soft tennis, fencing, taekwondo, swimming, chess as well as freestyle wrestling at the Asian Games.
Mongolian Shooting Sport Federation’s president E.Munkh-Ochir led the Mongolian team. For the first time, Mongolia won two gold medals in Teheran-1974 Asian Games.
