Second China-Mongolia-Russia Int'l Youth Sports Meeting opens in China
HOHHOT, China, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- The second China-Mongolia-Russia International Youth Sports Meeting opened here on Thursday.
Shi Mei, Director of Inner Mongolia Autogomous Region Sports Bureau, said that the meet features 51 disciplines from six sports of track and field, wresting, boxing, judo, table tennis and archery.
More than 700 athletes from the three countries will vie for 51 golds, 51 silvers and 74 bronzes.
China-Mongolia-Russia Youth Sports Meeting was inaugurated in 2008 and is held once a year and hosted by the three countries in turn.
